The Stryker XPS Expandable Siderails are designed to increase the usable patient surface area of compatible Stryker ambulance cots while remaining fully integrated with the cot. The expandable design provides EMS crews with greater flexibility when transporting patients of varying sizes without requiring a separate transport surface.
The XPS system features seven locking positions, allowing the patient surface to expand from approximately 23 inches up to 33 inches wide depending on siderail position. The system includes two XPS siderails and an XPS mattress designed to reduce the transfer gap between the mattress and siderails. XPS can also be retrofitted to compatible existing Stryker cots.
